SEATED ACUPRESSURE
Seated
Acupressure
Also called the on-site massage, seated acupressure has been built on the foundations of traditional Japanese acupressure technique. This technique was known as Anma, which can be literally translated into “press and rub”.
This technique is used to stimulate certain acupressure points located in the:
• Head
• Shoulders
• Neck
• Spine
• Lower back
However, unlike traditional acupuncture, needles are not used in seated acupressure. Your therapist will apply pressure with their hands to stimulate the energy lines that run throughout the body. Using a sequence of movements, the therapist will help the energy move through your body and improve various systems. If you feel you can benefit from loosening tightened or knotted muscles, then seated acupressure massage is the right choice for you. It will also help reduce the stress and tension that has become such an ordinary part of our lives.
As you can see, there is a type of massage for everybody. Depending on your preferences and reason for getting massage therapy, you can choose from one of these. Come, be stress-free!
